Mount Allison Social

MTA Social is a platform that started in October of 2024 and saw sustained development over the winter months between November and February within this period of time many of the fundamental features to now don't even notice being there but definitely noticed not having.

The site has been a slowly growing platform with numerus communities and an increasing number of users. We are hoping to appeal to the new students joining the university for the fall/winter semester of 2025. This is our main target group. We are well positioned to catch a vast number of new students with some of the features that we offer; Now this article is not designed as a sales pitch, this article is simply to describe what it is we do.

With our most recent change, what we do now includes the ability to find previous years finals and notes. This will hopefully make the live's of those professors that reuse finals and tests significantly harder. We designed this subservice as a simple solution based on one simple fact, the majority of professors at Mount Allison reuses their labs and assignments and even sometimes their finals.
